Join us on March 7, 2024:
Bishop LaTrelle Easterling joins in conversation with the Dr. Deborah Haskins, to discuss trauma-informed leading for wholistic wellness, during Next Level on March 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Westphalia UMC, in Upper Marlboro, MD. The theme of the day's conversation will be "The Body and Community Keeps the Score!! Leveling Up (Not Down) and Leading Trauma Informed and Responsive Personal, Congregational, and Community Well-being." How do we thrive, lead, and serve to the next level when experiencing individual and collective trauma? How do we level up -- not down -- by attending to our personal well-being especially during storms plaguing our community and The United Methodist Church? This session will challenge us to dig deep authentically as we apply a Trauma Informed and Responsive Model to ourselves, families, congregation, and community. Come prepared to level up with our focus on wellbeing for self, family, congregations, and communities. Deborah G. Haskins, Ph.D., LCPC, ACS, MAC, ICGC II, CGCSO, BACC, CGT, is the owner and Chief Clinical Consultant of MOSAIC Consulting and Counseling Services, LLC. A United Methodist leader, she is also a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University in the field of brain sciences and psychology. |
