PROGRAMS/COURSES
Level Up Leaders inspire, they influence and empower others, define new realities, and bring vision to life. Good leaders enable groups and individuals to grow more fully into what God is calling them to be. Living Well: A Program for Clergy, Designed by Clergy What do you do when you want to take your ministry to the next level? Working harder isn’t the answer. Even working smarter only takes you so far. The witness of faithful Christians over the ages has shown that time apart for reflection and renewal helps gain the needed perspective to see things differently and find the best way forward. The Living Well Program does just that. Certificate in Congregational Leadership (CCL) The CCL Program uses online learning to provide a comprehensive approach to developing leadership excellence in the local church. It is designed to accommodate the busy schedule of the bi-vocational pastor and Certified Lay Minister (CLM). While it is designed for part-time local pastors and Certified Lay Ministers serving in pastoral roles any person, lay or clergy, may participate in any or all of its components and receive a Certificate of Congregational Leadership by completing the requirements. The CCL Program is open to all. Those that do not wish to pursue a Certificate in Congregational Leadership may disregard the course requirements. The Non-Anxious Leader: Family Systems Basics The key to effective leadership is the ability to remain a non-anxious presence, especially when others are most anxious. The uncertainty created by the pandemic and pending denominational split intensifies this need. This four-week, online course, will help you to grow as a non-anxious leader. It will show you how to apply family systems theory so that you can be a non-anxious presence personally and professionally. All content can be accessed asynchronously. The four live sessions with the instructor are recorded in case you are unable to join them in real time. FREE to lay and clergy members of the Baltimore-Washington and Peninsula-Delaware Annual Conferences. Implementing a Discipleship Pathway: A Master Course and Mastermind Group Are you a pastor or spiritual leader who is feeling tired and frustrated? Do you have a deep desire to see those you serve grow spiritually but are not sure how to do it? Have you tried programs and bible studies and are ready to try something new? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then this is for you. This 12-month, cohort-based discipleship mastery course will help you develop an intentional discipleship system in your ministry context. |
